We recently discovered this gem, our friends rave about it, we are now huge fans & wish we discovered it sooner! Perfect cocktails. Reasonable prices, esp given the superb quality of the food. Lovely ambiance. Yes, it is worth it even if you are coming from downtown ...

My mother, brother and I went to Harlem yesterday to see my sister's new place,we ate at Chez Lucienne for brunch. We had a wonderful time. We were seated immediately upon arrival. Our server was Maya, who was absolutely charming and very attentive. We got our drink orders in good time. We ordered fried calamari it was excellent. My brother had the escargo (snails). He loved them. Our main courses were hot and delicious. I had the Ceasar salad with grilled chicken it was perfect, my brother had the coq au vin he loved it, Mom had the crepe with salmon and spinach and sister had crepe with cheese and mushrooms, they all loved their dishes with sauces. We will eat here again when we take another trip in to the city. Mom and brother live on Long Island and I live in Queens.

I recommend. Took the family for late Saturday brunch. Needs at least a small Kids menu or a couple of Kids items. Atmosphere was very comfortable French Bistro feel with just the right energy. Server was fantastic and a great help with explanations. The food exceeded expectations. The kitchen staff was open and friendly...see pic of one of the chefs. We will return!

I feel this place is under rated... Which is a good thing for whoever knows it!! I always found a table, and the food is incredible. Great service and great food. For brunch, I think they have the best eggs Benedict I ever had.

My daughter had the muscles provencal and said she'd give it a million stars. Friendly, warm staff were attentive, food came in good time and was piping hot. Great music - loud enough to create ambiance and not too loud that we couldn't talk. The food was delicious. I had the salmon on champaosaice, the fish was perfect but the rice was nothing to write home about. If you're in Harlem it's worth popping by.

This French restaurant in Harlem has recently been remodeled. It's more of scene now, and the cocktails are great. The good news is that the food is still good solid French with a few dishes with an African influence.
